Original Source (My Daily via Naver): 'Strangers from Hell' Im Siwan settles for Eden Goshiwon...'Suspicious' about Lee Jong Ok and Park Jong Hwan's weird behavior

Nationwide ratings for episode 1 that aired on August 31: 3.8% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [공감/비공감공감839비공감19] But Jong Woo has always been like that? Reread the webtoon, even in the original work he said, "What are you looking at"

2. [+766, -58] I'm a bit disappointed that they set it up as him going into a criminal's set from the get-go... I liked the set up where he goes crazy due to his life at the goshiwon more...
↪ [+149, -1] Forreal, they showed way too much
↪ [+400, -3] I agree, in the webtoon - the main point was the main character's mentality going mad, it was whether the main character had a mental illness or if he really went into a criminal's nest, I'm disappointed ㅠㅠ

3. [+644, -40] The webtoon's imaging where even the original writer of the webtoon will be satisfied.. The actors are really good at acting and the directing is good too. But the particular eeriness could receive mixed opinions...

4. [+549, -92] Although it's different from the original work, it's still watchable ㅋㅋㅋ Seriously, the original work bugs' complaints are disgusting.

5. [+385, -24] Kiwi's acting is good but he became a character who was a stuttering weirdo to a character who has a severe mental illness... And also, when I saw Lee Dong Wook, I thought he was Big Eyes (t/n: Kiwi is the original webtoon readers' nickname for the character Byun Deuk Jong/Room 206 because his head and haircut reminded readers of the fruit. Big Eyes is the nickname readers created for the character that lives in Room 203 because his character has huge eyes in the webtoon)

Original Source (OCN via Naver TV): [Hell ending] "Calm down" Lee Hyun Wook overpowers everyone

1. [+715, -10] Big Eyes is really hella handsome, shit;; I think the sync is 99%

2. [+577, -5] I thought that the thing that was more chilling that Lee Hyun Wook's smile is that Kiwi was a twin.... (t/n: In the original webtoon, Kiwi (Byun Deuk Jong/Room 206) isn't a twin)

3. [+531, -3] What's with Kiwi being twins

4. [+376, -3] Identical twins Kiwi

5. [+291, -2] I didn't even think of Kiwi being a twin ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Original Source (OCN via Naver TV): ※Shocking truth※ Lee Dong Wook k*lls Lee Hyun Wook, "You were failure"

Nationwide ratings for episode 2 that aired on September 1: 3.5% (cr. Naver TV)

1. [+776, -19] No but... he (Lee Hyun Wook) was a perfect sync for Huge Eyes but you're going to k*ll him off this fast...????
↪ [+176, -4] I think Lee Dong Wook is the real Huge Eyes
↪ [+98, -1] No but I thought they said that Lee Dong Wook is just the dentist ㅠㅡㅜㅠㅠ

2. [+629, -25] I think it's better to completely change it than rather than following the original work and then it turning into something different. I think the plot development got stronger. I grew fond of Lee Hyun Wook's character but if it's Lee Dong Wook, I can trust to watch it

3. [+534, -22] Bring back Lee Hyun Wook.... He was such a perfect match...

4. [+477, -14] We had Lee Hyun Wook but we didn't

5. [+426, -12] Am I the only one who got owned when Lee Dong Wook said, "Jagiya"?

I read the original webtoon and like all the other commenters, I thought Lee Hyun Wook was playing Huge Eyes and I thought he was a perfect match for the role ㅠㅠ
The original webtoon is really dark and violent so I think the drama is really following it.

For my readers who are sensitive to gory things in dramas/movies and are sensitive about animal cruelty, I recommend that you skip like the first few scenes that follow the bald-headed character!!!

Also if the names (e.g. Huge Eyes, Kiwi) are awkward to read!
In the webtoon, the other characters living in the goshiwon don't have names and they're always referred to as the person living in "Room 206" so that's why the readers gave them nicknames!
