During an interview with E Daily, child actor Kim Joon talked about his experience filming 'Hospital Playlist', "At first, I was nervous about going to the filming location but after filming and filming and filming and filming, it got better. Dad Jo Jung Suk said that I was good at playing Woo Joo so it gave me excitement and got me to work hard." Kim Joon said that while filming, he was received praise from a lot of people but chose Jo Jung Suk as the person who praised him the most, "I'm the most thankful for Dad Jo Jung Suk. Thank you for letting me film well. Let's meet again. I miss you."
In Jo Jung Suk's interview, the actor said the following when talking about the child actor, "If you see him (Kim Joon) in real life, his charm is a lot more immense than it is on the screen. It's to the point where you think how can he be this cute." On this comment from Jo Jung Suk, Kim Joon reacted, "Really? Please show me." The interviewer read the interview for him and it looked like Kim Joon was trying to hide his smile and was shy. He even responded and said Jo Jung Suk is a "good dad." When Kim Joon was asked who is the person he respects the most (the interviewer had to change the question and ask who he likes the most cause he doesn't understand the term 'respect' yet), Kim Joon chose Jo Jung Suk.
When he was asked about his appearance on 'Hospital Playlist', he said that he liked it. He explained, "I liked going to the filming set and I liked acting." He was then asked if he thought it was interesting to see himself on TV and surprisingly he said no. The interviewer wondered if he was a celebrity by nature and asked why he didn't think it was interesting to see himself on TV and Kim Joon said, "I didn't think it was interesting that I came out on TV because my mom showed me on the cellphone and then connected the phone to the TV. But it was interesting that the cellphone and TV connected."
Kim Joon showed viewers his mukbang skills whether it was eating sandwiches, hot dogs, king crab, and more. The interviewer asked if he eats well in real life and he said, "The food I ate while filming, I really enjoyed eating it. The king crab was the most delicious. I also really like king crab (t/n: pun using the Korean word for 'king crab' and 'really' LOL)." When asked what his favorite food is, "Spinach. My hyung (older brother) doesn't like vegetables but I'm good at eating vegetables." In the drama, Woo Joo ate spicy food like kimchi bean sprout porridge and yookgyejang and it left viewers worried but the actor explained that he also enjoys eating spicy food in real life.
