Actress Kim Sae Ron passes away at age 24

1. [+1576 / -141] Koreans who push people to death need to reflect

2. [+596 / -86] If you want to be a celebrity in our country, your mental state must be made out of steel. You get hate if you do this; you get hate if you do that. Even if you do good one hundred or a thousand times, if you make one mistake, you fail immediately. What killed Kim Sae Ron is you all, including the reporters - similar to Lee Sun Kyun!

3. [+422 / -16] This is unfortunate.. I hope she goes to a good place and achieves all the dreams she wasn't able to.

4. [+349 / -28] Imagine how painful it must have been ㅠㅠ at a young age. Aigoo, poor child, I hope she rests well... beautiful child!

5. [+224 / -13] Rest in peace

6. [+159 / -18] Let's make it mandatory to reveal your real name and the first four digits of your resident registration number when leaving comments online. Please, let's at least propose a bill. There are too many reckless comments (t/n: the first half of the resident registration number signifies the person's date of birth)

One of Kim Sae Ron's major projects was 'Ahjussi,' also known as 'The Man From Nowhere.' She starred in the movie at age 9 with top actor Won Bin. It was reported that Won Bin quit smoking because he felt that it wasn't right to smoke when his costar was a child. 'Ahjussi' was Won Bin's last work. He has done commercials and worked as a brand ambassador for Unicef but has generally been away from the public eye for over a decade. This was his first public appearance in years.

1. [+3851 / -166] How is it that someone gets ostracized for one DUI while another is praised when they committed two incidents of DUI and have four criminal records... This world is going crazy... (t/n: this is a political comment about Lee Jae Myung, you can read about his legal troubles here)

2. [+2071 / -19] As expected, ahjussi is protecting her until the end. He didn't promote for 15 years and he came at once but the place is a wake - my heart hurts ㅠ

3. [+683 / -118] A society with no blood and tears that show not even an ounce of tolerance for a single mistake. We all killed her. May you rest in peace
↳ [+124 / -14] ...?? Her death is unfortunate but I don't think drunk driving is a one-time mistake. I have not seen someone who drove drunk only once
↳ [++72 / -12] It's true that drunk driving is a crime and not a mistake, but a verdict was made, and she lost her work opportunities. She tried to make a living by working part-time but that made reports and people were mocking her;; You should only criticize the crime but people were saying that it looked like she was faking her part-time job and ridiculing her by saying instead of working part-time, they would be doing something else instead;; Those people are now saying they hope she rests in peace, that's not a normal way of thinking (t/n: there are other articles reporting that she legally changed her name from Kim Sae Ron to Kim Ah Im and was planning to open a cafe with acquaintances, as well as plans to return to the entertainment industry)
↳ [+61 / -4] Lee Jung Jae and Seo Jang Hoon are promoting well after committing a DUI and people aren't leaving hate comments. It's not an intolerant society but rather a society with selective tolerance. If people really thought that committing a DUI was like attempted murder, do you think all those politicians and celebrities who have a DUI are able to actively promote right now?

4. [+443 / -21] Why are they taking photos of the mourners?

5. [+343 / -11] This wasn't how I wanted to see Won Bin in the media.. Rest in peace.

6. [+152 / -2] Won Bin is loyal. Still, the one protecting you until the end is ahjussi
